The two wavelengths that matter, clinical-grade red 660nm + near-infrared 850nm, not a seven-colour light show.

Face and neck in one routine, treats the area that gives your age away, the bit other masks skip.

Ten minutes, one button, soft flexible silicone that moulds to your face rather than perching on it.

The same wavelengths as the premium names, built well, sold honestly, without the showroom markup.

  • 2 eye guards

Face Only set includes the face mask, controller, charging cable and 2x straps

How to use it

Consistency matters more than intensity. Ten minutes most evenings beats an hour once a week.

Clean, dry skin first. Serums underneath sit on top and block the light.

Connect the mask, and the neck piece if you have it, to the controller using the connector in the box.

Adjust the straps so it sits close against the skin. Snug, not tight.

Hold power until it turns on, then press to select your mode. Mode 3 runs both wavelengths and it's the one you'll use most nights.

Ten minutes, five or six evenings a week. Read, put a podcast on, sit still.

Serums straight after, not before. Skin absorbs noticeably better once it's had its session.

Wipe the silicone clean afterwards.

If this feels familiar

You've done everything right. Your skin didn't get the memo.

The serums, the retinol, the SPF. And somewhere along the way it started looking tired anyway, less bright than it used to be, no matter what you buy. You're not doing it wrong.

Creams work on the surface. The glow fades deeper down, where only light can reach.

Four weeks apart

Same face. Same light. Four weeks between them.

No filter, no clever angle. Ten minutes a night is the only thing that changed.

Most masks sell you seven colours. Two of them do the work.

A rainbow looks impressive in an advert. That is the entire reason it exists. The research points to red 660nm and near-infrared 850nm, and near-infrared is the one nearly everyone leaves out, because a light you cannot see does not sell a box.

The DermaPro runs both. At strength, on your face and your neck.

Grounded in research

Everyone says clinically proven. Almost nobody names the clinic.

So here are the three studies behind the two wavelengths in this mask.

136

Wunsch & Matuschka, 2014

Volunteers in a controlled trial. Collagen density increases confirmed by ultrasound, not by asking people how they felt. Still measurable twelve weeks later.

Blind

Lee et al., 2007

Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, split-face. Significant improvement in wrinkles and elasticity against the untreated side.

660nm

Barolet et al., 2009

Measured what red light does at cell level. Increased type-1 procollagen, the building block your body makes collagen from.

All three tested the exact wavelengths this mask runs. Red 660nm and near-infrared 850nm, not a colour wheel.

Ten minutes a night. Here's what changes.

  • The jawline comes back. Tighter where it had started to soften and slide.
  • The crepey texture goes. The bit your creams have only ever sat on top of.
  • Your skin catches the light again instead of swallowing it. That's the glow.
  • Every serum you own gets better. Treated skin absorbs far more of what follows.

Most people see it by week four.

Four modes, one button

You'll only ever need one of them.

Mode 3 is the one to use. Red and near-infrared together, ten minutes, most evenings. That's your whole routine.

  • Mode 1Red 660nm on its own, for brightness and tone
  • Mode 2Blue, for blemish-prone skin
  • Mode 3Red 660nm + near-infrared 850nm together, the everyday setting
  • Mode 4Red and blue combined

Near-infrared is invisible to the eye, so mode 3 looks the same as mode 1. It's reaching considerably deeper.

Face + Neck

Your face gets the care.
Your neck gives away the years.

You spend on serums, masks and creams for your face, and stop the moment you reach your jaw. Yet the neck and chest are often the first place a tired, ageing look shows, and the last place anyone treats.

The DermaPro Face + Neck set treats both, with the same clinical-grade red and near-infrared light. One routine, from forehead to collarbone.

The area nobody treats, until now

Why waiting costs you

You lose collagen every year. It doesn't come back on its own.

It starts in your mid thirties and it never pauses. The jaw softens, the neck goes, the brightness fades, and one day you see a photo and wonder exactly when that happened.

And you have been trying. Serum after serum, all of it working politely on the surface, while the thing that actually changed carried on underneath, where nothing you own could reach it.

Light reaches it. Ten minutes a night, on the layer where firmness is actually lost, and every product you already own works harder afterwards. The sooner you start, the more you keep.

Before you decide

What it won't do.

It won't erase deep, set lines. Nothing you wear on your face will, and any brand promising otherwise is hoping you won't check.

What it does do, used consistently, is bring back that firmer, smoother, brighter look. Face and neck, ten minutes at a time.

We'd rather you knew now. The brands that promise everything are the ones worth worrying about.

"I bought it half-expecting another gimmick, I'll be honest. Six weeks in and my skin looks more even and noticeably firmer. The fact it does my neck too is what sold me. That's the bit I always ignored."

"I'd been eyeing the expensive ones for a year and could never justify it. This runs the same red and infrared light and I genuinely can't tell what the extra money would have bought me. Ten minutes while I read."

The questions everyone asks.

Does it actually work, or is it another gimmick?

Red and near-infrared light is one of the few corners of at-home skincare with real published research behind it, including randomised placebo-controlled trials. What makes a mask a gimmick is the seven-colour light show, not the technology. This one runs the two wavelengths the studies actually tested.

How do I actually use it?

Straightforward once it's set up, and after the first time it takes seconds.

  1. Charge the controller before your first session.
  2. Plug the mask and neck piece into the controller using the connector in the box.
  3. Hold the controller's power button until it turns on. The mask will light up.
  4. Press the top button (a press, not a hold) to change power setting, and the second button to switch between modes.
  5. The screen shows your charge level, current mode and power setting, so you always know where you are.

Use it on clean, dry skin, mode 3, ten minutes, most evenings. Serums afterwards, when your skin takes them best. It's soft flexible silicone rather than a rigid shell, so it moulds to your face and you can wear it while you read or watch something.

What's the difference between the four modes?

Mode 3 is the one you'll use. That's red 660nm and near-infrared 850nm together, and it's the pairing the research is built on. Mode 1 is red on its own, mode 2 is blue for blemish-prone skin, and mode 4 combines red and blue. Near-infrared is invisible to the eye, so mode 3 looks the same as mode 1 even though it's reaching considerably deeper.

How quickly will I see something?

You'll feel it first, smoother skin that takes your serums properly, within a fortnight. The visible change, firmer along the jaw and brighter overall, tends to land around week four. Take a photo tonight so you've got something to compare it to.

Why is it cheaper than the big names?

Because the light is identical. Red 660nm and near-infrared 850nm cost the same to produce whoever makes them. What you're not paying for is the celebrity, the department store and the campaign, and none of those ever touched your face.

What about the cheap seven-colour masks?

Of those seven colours, two have research behind them. The rest are there because a rainbow photographs better than a red box does. And at that price something has to give, which is usually the power, so it lights up beautifully and does very little underneath. That's why people try one, give it a month, and conclude red light doesn't work.

Do I really need the neck piece?

The neck is usually the first place your age shows and the last place anyone treats, which is exactly why the premium brands sell it as a separate device at nearly the price of the mask again. The Face + Neck set runs the same two wavelengths over both, in the same ten minutes. Most people who skip it wish they hadn't.

What won't it do?

It won't erase deep, set lines. Nothing you wear on your face will, and any brand promising otherwise is hoping you don't check. What it's shown to do is support firmer, smoother, brighter-looking skin over time. Buy it for that, not for a miracle.
