If this sounds familiar

The shelf keeps growing. The results keep shrinking.

The cleanser, the vitamin C, the retinol, the SPF. Hundreds a year, applied religiously, for years. And your skin still looks tired on days you feel fine. You're not doing it wrong.

You've been buying more of the same thing. None of it reaches the layer that changed.

The bit nobody checks

Every mask says FDA-cleared. Ours gives you the number.

Most brands stop at the phrase, because it sounds like enough and hardly anyone follows it up. The DermaOne is cleared as a Class II device, and this is the number.

K253054

Search it in FDA's own public database. It takes about thirty seconds, and we'd genuinely rather you did.

Most masks give you seven colours. The science is in two.

A rainbow photographs better than a spec sheet. But only two wavelengths have real published research behind them.

Red 660nm works nearer the surface, for firmness and radiance. Near-infrared 850nm is invisible to the eye and reaches deeper than any serum can, down to the cells that make collagen.

The DermaOne runs both. And prints them on the box.

Grounded in research

Light therapy isn't new. Our honesty about it is.

Red and near-infrared light have been studied in skin science for years, which is exactly why the DermaOne is built around those two wavelengths and not a seven-colour gimmick. We've gathered the key research in one place, including what it does and doesn't show, so you can judge it for yourself.

Not everyone can show it.

Four modes · 252 LEDs

Built around the two that do the work.

Mode 3 is the one you'll live in. Red 660nm and near-infrared 850nm together, for firmness, radiance and the look of fine lines. Ten minutes, most evenings.

Blue 460nm is there for blemish-prone skin, with its own separate research behind it. Some brands sell blue light as an entirely separate device. It's a mode on this one.

252 individual LEDs cover the whole face, including the jaw and hairline most masks leave dark. No green, no yellow, no purple. There's nothing honest to say about them.

The magnetic controller clipping off the side of the Morra DermaOne mask

Completely cordless

The clever bit clips off.

The controller attaches magnetically to the side of the mask on two small contact pins. Line it up and it snaps on. Pull it away and it's off.

Which means you charge the module, not the mask. USB-C, the same cable as your phone, and one charge covers around twenty sessions. It also means the mask itself stays soft, with nothing rigid built into it.

No plug. No lead trailing across the room. No sitting still next to a socket for ten minutes. You can make a cup of tea in it, terrify your husband, finish the episode.

Two buttons. That's the whole interface.

The truth about time

Your skin won't wait for you to decide.

Every year, the cells that keep skin firm and bright slow down. It's quiet at first. Then the fine lines settle in, the firmness goes, and you're left watching it happen with no real idea what actually helps.

And you've been trying. Serum after serum, all working politely on the surface, while the real change carried on deeper down, where none of them could ever reach.

Red and near-infrared light reaches it. It works where your creams can't, on the layer where firmness is actually lost, and makes everything you already use work harder afterwards. Ten minutes a night. The sooner you start, the more you keep.

Before you decide

And what it won't do.

It won't erase deep, set lines. Nothing you wear on your face will, and any brand promising otherwise is hoping you won't check.

It won't work by Friday either. What it does, used consistently, is bring back that firmer, smoother, brighter look over weeks rather than days.

We'd rather you knew now. The brands that promise everything are the ones worth worrying about.

"I'll be honest, I bought it half-expecting another gimmick. Six weeks in and my skin genuinely looks more even and a bit firmer. The fact it does my neck too sold me, that's the bit I always ignored."

"I'd been eyeing the £400 ones for a year and couldn't justify it. This uses the same red and infrared light and I genuinely can't tell what the extra £300 would've bought me. Ten minutes while I read in bed."

"I'm 34 and started thinking about this stuff as prevention rather than a fix. It's become my favourite ten minutes of the day. My skin looks rested even when I'm not. Wish I'd started sooner."

Real people, real talk

We'd rather you heard it from them than from us.

The questions everyone asks.

How long until I see a difference?

Most people start noticing something within the first couple of weeks, usually that their skin feels smoother and takes their serums better. The visible change, the brightness and firmness creeping back, tends to settle in around week four or five. The studies ran four to twelve weeks, so the best results come from staying consistent rather than going harder. Ten minutes most evenings beats twenty minutes twice a week, every time.

What does FDA-cleared actually mean?

It means FDA reviewed a premarket submission and determined the device is substantially equivalent to devices already legally on the market. It's a real regulatory review, not a certificate anyone can buy. What it isn't is approval, and it isn't a promise about your results. Our clearance number is K253054 and you can search it yourself.

Isn't every mask FDA-something?

This is the bit worth understanding. Plenty of devices are FDA-registered, which means a factory filled in a form and listed the product. Nobody reviewed the device itself. FDA-cleared means a submission was reviewed and a determination was made. Same three letters, completely different bar, and almost nobody explains the difference because it doesn't suit them.

Why is there a blue light if only two wavelengths matter?

Because blue does a different job. Red and near-infrared are the ones with research behind them for firmness and radiance. Blue has its own separate research for blemish-prone skin. What we haven't done is add five more colours and imply they're all doing something.

How is this different from the DermaPro?

The DermaPro plugs in and comes with a neck piece. The DermaOne is our newest, it's completely cordless, it's FDA-cleared as a Class II device, and it runs 252 LEDs across four modes. Same two wavelengths doing the work in both, because those haven't changed and won't. Pick the one that fits how you'll actually use it.

Do I have to charge the whole mask?

No. The controller clips off magnetically and charges on its own via USB-C, around twenty sessions per charge. The mask itself has no battery in it, which is exactly why it stays soft and light on your face.
